REDPILL Training is a concept of athletic conditioning & coaching that takes responsibility for your results. REDPILL is owned by Phil Mansfield and James Jowsey who together hold 28 years of experience in athletic conditioning.
Phil Mansfield and James Jowsey have worked with international athletes in the worlds of CrossFit, Football, Rugby, Cycling and Triathlon.
Phil's athletes include Tour riders - Michael Valgren, Chris Anker Sørensen. Top Pros - Troels Vinther, Andre Steensen, Christina Siggaard, Nikki Østegaard, Michael Tronborg, Andreas Jeppersen and Matthis Westergaard. Triathlete Jens Bach, World Champion athletes - Katrine Meldgaard, Morten Banke, Mads Bang and Josh Hodge. National u17 champion - Jacob Madsen.
James works as a full-time coach for CrossFit Athletes Samantha Briggs (CrossFit Games Champion 2013 and Games athlete 2017), Elliot Simmonds (7th in Meridian Regional 2017), Rob Lawson (Masters Regionals Athlete 35-39 category), Jordan Wallace (5 x Meridian Regionals athlete), Emma McQuaid, Simon Greenwood, Darren Thornton (CrossFit Metric - East Regional Team member 2017), Helen Waters (Masters athlete 40-44). He also currently assists CrossFit Team JST who will be attending the 2017 CrossFit Games Finals - whose team members include Steven Fawcett, Benjamin Massey, Jak Cornthwaite, Megan Lovegrove, Jayne Eadie and Oakley Woodhouse. He has provided the same assistance with many CrossFit athletes competing at the Regional level including most recently Jamie Greene (4th Meridian Regional 2017) and Aneta Saulichova (35th Meridian Regional 2017).
James also works outside of CrossFit with footballers, Rob Lainton and Craig Jones (Bury FC) and provides consultancy support to Premiership Rugby Union team the Worcester Warriors.
