When Paul was asked for a fun fact about himself…

He said: “I don’t have any suitable ones. Maybe over a few beers”

A bit about Paul

I’m from the West Midlands, with a sporting background in football, golf and boxing. I did 8 years in the Royal Marines with 2 tours of Iraq and 3 in Afghanistan. I’ve owned a CrossFit affiliate since 2011 and been coaching ever since.

And why coaching?

I love of the fitness side of the military and I love to help people to reach their goals — whether it be a simple weight loss goal or sporting achievements.

What are your values as a coach?

I really value loyalty and trust. Trust the process of the program and trust the coach.

Why did you want to be a Red Pill coach?

There was always something missing in every fitness/CrossFit/strength and conditioning qualification or course I did. I couldn’t tell someone why they had knee pain hip pain shoulder pain — and I even experienced it for myself. Injury after injury whilst doing CrossFit and after physios, and chiropractors and osteopaths could not fix my problems — the man the legend James Jowsey did. After a couple of years of him baffling me with how easy it was to get me out of pain it was finally time to take the Red Pill and learn the truths about the body and human performance and help others with the same problems I encountered.

What do you hope your future as a coach will look like?

I hope I continue to grow my coaching and therapy skills and move into the sporting world helping professional athletes with their injury and performance levels.
